Lord Kum, your stupidity is shining extra bright today. obviously you have never given 311 a fair listening to. if you did, you would realize that the music these men make are far beyond human ability. every 311 song has its own vibe. it controls the atmosphere of the environment for the length of each song. the riffs and grooves 311 writes could never be duplicated no matter how hard anyone tries. they are musical geniuses.
i feel for anyone that doesnt understand the greatness of 311 for those people truly do not know what they are missing. |

she means exactly that. the fucking beats they play are so sweet. they are the sweetest grooves ever heard by mankind. she means harmonize because they got one singer with a lower voice and another dude whos got a real high beautiful voice. when they sing together it sounds really awesome. at the same time they do alot of harmonics on the guitars. the drummer is the best drummer in the world. he's the one behind the beats. even if you dont like 311 i recommend you download concert footage of their drum solo. its always the best part of the concert.
311 makes the music of the gods, its pretty simple. |

no one COULD ever do like it them. no matter how hard they tried. nothing could come close to the style 311 plays. and the great thing about 311 is that the older they get, the more cd's they come out with, they are always reinventing there sound and taking it up a notch. still blowing my mind with the melodies, rythem patterns.
get their cd "Transistor". it is a musical masterpiece. |

Joey is the shit, i'll agree, that double peadle (how the fuck do you spell it) is fucking ridiculous, too much!, but chad does his own shit. I don't know squat about drumming and what not but his beats are ridiculous. I saw that drum solo, and I have it recorded crotchy, amazing. That's what jazz class will do to ya i guess.
SA's voice and Nick's voice together comes from the fucking heavens man. And P-nuts bass, come on man! COME ON!!!!!!

no, i always forgot to order it. i know a kid who has a tape of it, so eventually i'll probably get a copy.
its cool though, aint really nothing i havent seen before. ive seen them live 7 times and have both enlarge to show detail's, they pretty much played the same songs as they usually do. last summer i got to see 3 of the new songs live. did you ever hear Reconsider Everything?? the studio version is gonna totally be the best. tim shreds major in that song. the song is based off a badass riff he plays, if you never heard it before. |

| i realize i am a bit late to respond to this, but i just got home. crotchycrackers and surrender, happy 311 day. i got shit last time i said anything about 311, but fuck everyone. last year they played a fucking bad ass show on 3-11, and i have so much fucking respect for them. i got to actually sit down and listen to them play acoustic with 20 other people two summers ago and ever since their music has become like a drug. i agree w/ everything you guys have said about how amazingly talented they are and unique. to that fag who saw them w/ cypress hill, dont go to a fucking rap show next time you dumbfuck that'll teach you. |

| yeah crotchy how did you know about the q101 show? i won those tickets and was fucking amazed. they were so bad ass. they signed shit for me even though they werent supposed to. if you want to hear some good drum solos get the 311 Live CD. its got a great mix of their older shit and you can tell how good they are live. |
