| i mean come on, he would write the newspapers taunting them after a kill but using a language only he knew, he made a numerical alphabet and made the authorities try and decypher it every time, you guys should read the book its pretty damn good. |

There's many people who believe that some of those letters to the newspapers
were actually sent by the senior investigator on the case, because in some of them there was details about the police investigation that only an inside officer would know.
Did you hear that as well Pete? |

| i also heard there was speculation that it WAS an inside job, ie a police officer was the killer. so in the same respect, yes |

| well, theres always the idea it was a 'cult' thing actually only a one man cult, he kept going back to 'having slaves in paradise' all that kinda stuff, which means (only a theory) that he may have comitted suicide, although in one of his LAST letters to the san francisco chronicle, he said because the police and paper werent doing what he asked, he was going to stop writing, stop telling them hints, basically he was going to 'start killing randomlly without anyone knowing who it was' no clues, NOTHING so he may of started a us killing tour, theres so many unsolved murders with the same kind of 'markings' on some of them spanning the entire country. thats also another theory |
