people shouldn't go into space
period
send a robot
the only reason it costs to much to send humans is because we have to feed them, make sure they can breath, clean the shit out of space suits and try to bring them back too
and we all know how well THAT has worked
robots are expendable
plus they can go places we can't send humans
all we have to pace back and forth over in thatscenario is getting the info back and if the intern ordered the right kind of pizza
the whole idea of the international space station is just a political move and each pres has a different reason to continue to pursue it

| nothing up there is suitable for humans to tromp around thats why we cant go up there with shorts and t shirt on, but bush will have to sacrifice at least a few nukes to develop a robot with the dexterity to do the stuff humans can do, plus countries like outer mongolia love to have one of there people up in space, its a headliner for weeks. |

| its not stable for humans to meet our ansestors on mars, well mine anyway, but these guys were just "doing experiments" not frontiers, the problem is that these shuttles are spluttering old pieces of shit, its like going on the longest journey you can imagine in your first car, but if it breaks down it blows up, and your dead. |
