i think sterotyping reggae like that isnt even close to being right. p.s. believe it or not reggae was around before rastafari ever had an influence in the music. i mean, Bob Marley, who probably was the original man to incorporate the rasta message and Jah in reggae didnt start until his Exodus album. him and the wailers put out 3 full-lengths albums at least before that, not to mention dozens and dozens of singles. and even if it was black power music (which it is not), who could blame the man for trying to lift the spirits of his people. hallie sellise does not equal reggae music.
