| i agree with almost everything he said except for the artists taking responsibility about the shit they sing about. i hate marilyn manson with a passion but it's real gay when he is blamed for shit like columbine. anyway, the shit tom petty is talking about is nothing new. i remember growing up with older sisters that played pop radio all day and hearing bullshit like bel biv devoe and vanilla ice. i knew all that shit would fade away and the next thing would come right in and be shoved down people's throat. i CAN'T remember when the radio was ever good. i DO remember waiting through 12 shitty songs before i got to hear "pour some sugar on me" by Def Leppard or "deep deep trouble" by Bart Simpson. |

| But he made other points that are right on the dot. Fuck the radio thing i don't even listen to the radio, they mostly play songs that bands beg to be played. Ticket prices are fuckin rediculous at some shows and the fuckin CD prices for Christ sakes are still fuckin high as fuck. If they do lower prices i think they actual might sell some CDs then. |

| yeah, guttermouth is 15 bucks! that is pretty steep compared to the 8 bucks it used to be. 15 bucks is almost as much as the warped tour. |
