| of all people to cite, Mark Adkins the other day spent several minutes opening the set by just ridiculing the fucking 15 year old kids at the show with their blink182 hats tipped to the side... it was GM of old, and it was great. those fuckers had no clue who they were seeing and what was goign on... they just saw the words "punk rock" on the fucking show fyler and came along expecting mother fucking mxpx or something... now, don't get me wrong... a lot of great people have come into scenes like this... but those particular fucks left half way through the set... and Mark proudly stopped and said "good bye". |

| slapstick was am amazing foundation band... look at all the bands formed/contributed from slaptick: broadways, tuesday, less than jake(cont), alkaline trio, lawrence arms, honor system, and more! |

Danny Andriano (ex-Slapstick/Tuesday, current Alkaline Trio)plays solo sets around here a lot, and/or travels with Duvall and Mike Felumlee (ex-alkaline trio/smoking popes, current Duval/Solo) so I get to see him quite often.
The really cool part about Slapstick is that they were all around 16 years old. |
