METRO-30 MARCH EASTER SUNDAY SYDNEY....

Let me start of by saying that for the 40 mins that you did actually play before getting pissed off and disappointed by the place near empty, audience participation being piss weak...and wondering what hell happened between the last time you were received by Sydneysiders as being Punk Rock Masahiro to a near empty theatre....you played VERY brilliantly...

From Mark's past messages and from what I saw, heard and felt at the last show....I suppose you lot were pumped up for a FUCKING GOOD SHOW!!! you must have had a shock when you saw the turn out....

There are a number of factors to be considered when reflecting on last night...

1. You only gave TWO weeks notice that you all were doing a solo show....whereas the Vans Warped Tour tickets have been selling since late February...they cost $67.00. And originally you weren't going to do a solo show....

2. To go to your solo show plus warped (cos you have already bought warped tickets) comes to a total of $107.00...for a vast margin of your fans ﾡK. This comes to 1/3 of their weekly wages....
To put this in perspective...

(a)rent money in Sydney your looking at $100 for a shithole room on city road where you get mugged walking down the street, or you can live out west cheaply, and be burgled every day and spend $50.00 a week travelling to work in the city as all the jobs are in the city....and youﾡﾦre 22 and youﾡﾦre parents donﾡﾦt want youﾡK.so what the hell can you do?

(b)food-fucking expensive.

(c)telephone bills....need i write an explanation...

(d) electricity....

(e) water ....

...to go to both shows some people have sacrificed eating for the next week.

You may ask why the hell Iﾡﾦm telling you all this shit, because when you label the few punters at your show fucking yuppies, it's fairly insulting, as to be a yuppie in Sydney, you have to be the Prime Ministers Sons and Daughters...Kerry Packerﾡﾦs son, Murdochﾡﾦs sonﾡK

In Australia, there is a huge gap between high income earning low income earning and poverty.

Youth employment is high and if you do have a job, the award wages are piss weak. Bit like America I suppose. i.e most of your fans are not in their 40ﾡﾦs.

3. During the Easter break, we have two public, the Friday and the following Monday....thus having 4 days off and summer just about ready to piss right off into winterness, a vast amount of people seize the chance of going on a holiday and saying good-bye to summer ﾡK. back in time for warped....

4. Australia youth suicide rate is amongst the top 5 (i think) in the world....some of your fans/friends from last time are most probably dead.

5. Warped has been sold out for a while now, and I think itﾡﾦs safe to assume that a bulk of punters will be coming to see you will be received as you were so few months backﾡKIﾡﾦm really looking forward to it cos:

So im sorry if you hated playing last night, but Jesus christ it's not like some of your punters feel rooted over as well.

Plus it was eatser sunday when most people are with their family and may not be able to go to the show. As well as being on holidays.

I know GM might not be religious, or be "family men" but they are away from home playing shows in another country on a holiday. Not only all that but then you bitch about it, see if they ever come back to play for whinny fans. Atleast you get to see them, I dont, and I really doubt they will be doing the whole american warped tour, or any shows that I can attend. Anyways sorry for your bad luck and misfortune, I really am, you made some good points, but you also came accross as a whiney bitch, maybe you should go about it a different way, maybe, who cares?

Yeah I get what your saying now. If I was in your position I'd probly feel and do the same. Its hard for me to get exactly what your saying because I am not from austriala and I dont fully get how things work there (like how the money transfers are different, and how the toilets flush opposite directions) But being ripped off (and pissed off) is international and I can understand that.

ha ha toliet flush in different directions...the first and only time i went to america, off the plane, head into the airport toliets waiting in this cue, got into the cubical, and i thought the plumping was broken and that some one had flushed a toliet roll down, so i walked out and went into another cubical, same thing....ha ha i freaked out when i saw how full your dunnies are hey!!!! don't people that have drunk too much die from passing out and drown in them after having a vomit?

I just wanted to say that i thought the show at the metro was the best and was worth paying $40 to go to that as well as paying to go to warped just wanted to say mark your the best thanx for staying around and talking to me after, it made my night can't wait to see yous at warped on sunday.
